It's time to Buzz with excitement as Bee City USA-Asheville invites pollinator enthusiasts, native plant lovers, and biodiversity champions to an inspiring afternoon of connection, learning, and collaboration.
Pollinators are the unsung heroes of our ecosystems, supporting nearly 90% of wild flowering plants and crucial crops we rely on for food. Yet, nearly half of the planet’s insect pollinators face the risk of extinction. Bee City USA, founded right here in Asheville in 2012, has since grown to 426 affiliates across 47 states, leading the charge in pollinator conservation through community action, native plant initiatives, and pesticide reduction.
