Gamers' Haunt Gala

Gamers' Haunt, Asheville's home for Magic: the Gathering and D&D is moving to a bigger, better location—we're moving from our Merrimon location to a spot in downtown Asheville with more than twice the space, and to celebrate we're throwing a party!

Join us for this very special event--a Gala in our new space, BEFORE we move in! We will be serving drinks, have finger foods to snack on, be playing music, and will set up tables to chat at or play games. We will have silent auctions, door prizes, and more. All funds raised from this event will help with our move to this awesome new location!

Everyone who attends will be invited to contribute to a time capsule and leave a note on our unpainted walls. Those who want the chance to be a permanent part of the lovely community that surrounds us here at Gamers' Haunt can sponsor a table or chair at our new location and have a plaque installed in your name (or your favorite gamer's name) on it—you'll be able to "adopt" the chair or table at the gala or on our website.

This event will be held at the site of our soon-to-be new location: 167 Patton Ave in downtown Asheville! You can park in our dedicated lot, but there's plenty of other parking nearby too: there's free street parking after 6pm up and down French Broad Street, the Wall Street parking garage is just a block away. Plus, a number of our new neighbors kindly OKed our customers using their lots as overflow parking on nights or weekends once they're closed: Jan Davis Tire Store and Meineke (please don't block the bays), as well as Firestone (please park in open lot on the side, not directly in front of the building), all right nearby on Patton Ave.

There's no required dress code, but dressing all snazzy is encouraged.
