Join Dr. Rima Vesely-Flad, author of The Fire Inside: The Dharma of James Baldwin & Audre Lorde, for a special Juneteenth conversation at Noir Collective AVL. Dr. Vesely-Flad is the Founding Director of the Initiative for Black Buddhist Studies and an acclaimed scholar whose work explores Black culture, spirituality, and social justice.

In conversation with Noir Collective AVL co-owner alexandria monque ravenel, she will discuss the enduring wisdom of Baldwin and Lorde, the pursuit of liberation, and the power of Black intellectual traditions. A book signing will follow the discussion.
