Field Notes Wine Show

Mondays are hard, have something worth leaving work early for. We’ve gathered some of our favorite small producers in one room at Botanist and Barrel Asheville for an afternoon of exploration, casual snacking, and hanging out with the folks behind the bottles.

This is essentially an industry-style tasting, open to the public. Seven producers, all in the room, pouring their own wines, ciders, vermouth, and beer tasting directly with the people who made it.

Producers include:
Addison, Botanist and Barrel, DeFi, Demarcation, Euda, Pleb, and Fonta Flora.

Expect a wide range of styles with 30+ samples, new releases, and the kind of conversations you usually only get at trade tastings. Ask questions, taste something new, and get a real sense of what’s happening in our local fermentation scene right now.

We will have a spread of snacks including local cheese and charcuterie and a selection of rare tinned fish for the seafood obsessed. Tickets are only 20 dollars but space is limited to 25 people. Samples and snacks included!
