This dance’s intention: Rise Up!

Individuals and communities throughout the world find themselves on the vulnerable end of a conflict yet find the determination to rise up through civil action, protest, song, art, kindness, and mutual support. What creates the strength of will to move beyond the freeze response in order to create change? This dance honors of the people of the world who transcend the fear and uncertainty and take action toward a more just and kinder planet.

Sara’s mix-making arises from musical exploration. She seeks to understand energy through somatic responses to sonic vibrations. Her facilitation is propelled by a desire to help build and sustain community by creating a safe, loving container for self-expression, connection and release.
