  • Step into the rich blue world of cyanotypes in this hands-on botanical art workshop exploring one of the oldest photographic printing processes.

We’ll begin by foraging for plants and natural materials outdoors, then use our botanical finds to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind compositions. You’ll learn how to transform leaves, flowers, and other natural elements into stunning blue-and-white prints—perfect for framing, displaying, or turning into unique handmade greeting cards.

    In this workshop, you’ll learn:

    - How to coat your paper with the cyanotype solution

    - How to select and arrange botanicals to create strong compositions

    - How to expose your artwork and reveal the finished cyanotype

I’ll guide you step-by-step through the entire process, sharing tips and techniques to help you create beautiful, successful prints while encouraging your own creative expression.

All materials provided. No previous art or photography experience is necessary. Whether you’re completely new to cyanotypes or have experimented with the process before, you’ll leave with a collection of original botanical prints and a new appreciation for the creative possibilities found in nature.
