The Black Mountain Blues Society and White Horse Black Mountain present the Dark City Blues Jam, a twice-monthly celebration of blues, soul, grit, and community.
We invite musicians and music lovers alike to experience the raw energy of live blues in the heart of the Blue Ridge.

1st and 3rd Tuesdays hosted by Peggy Ratusz 1st Tues and Bill Mattocks 2nd Tues.

Whether you are a seasoned player looking to sit in with a powerhouse house band or a fan ready to soak up the atmosphere, the Dark City Blues Jam offers an authentic, high-energy environment for all.

We want to hear what you’ve got! Signing up to play is simple:
Sign-Up Sheet: The list opens at the venue starting at 6:30 PM.
The Process: Musicians are encouraged to arrive early to secure a slot. You can sign up as an individual or a partial group. SIgn ups end 10 min before showtime.

What to Bring: Bring your own instrument (guitars, harps, horns, etc.).
