Ivy Jacobsen & Casey Roberts: New Work at Momentum Gallery

Step into a world inspired by nature, light, and imagination at Momentum Gallery, where artists Ivy Jacobsen and Casey Roberts are featured in two solo exhibitions of new work through October 31, 2026.

Though their artistic processes are very different, both artists share a deep connection to the natural world and a fascination with the ways light, material, and time can transform it.

Ivy Jacobsen’s botanical oil paintings seem to glow from within. Built layer by layer with oil and resin, her luminous florals and moonlit landscapes invite you to slow down and look a little closer. Plants unfurl, overlap, and multiply across dreamlike nocturnal scenes, creating works that feel both familiar and wonderfully otherworldly.

Casey Roberts brings nature to life through the centuries-old photographic process of cyanotype, using light-sensitive chemistry and the sun itself to create his images. His quiet compositions of animals, water, and sky unfold in beautiful blues, soft greys, and touches of gold, capturing a sense of stillness, wonder, and magic.

Together, the exhibitions offer two distinct and captivating ways of experiencing nature, from Jacobsen’s richly layered paintings to Roberts’ luminous compositions created through light, chemistry, and time.

Private tours are available by appointment and can include beverages and light bites, offering an opportunity to experience the work in a more personal setting and learn more about the artists, their processes, and the stories behind the pieces.
