Community Scoops Day - Free Ice Cream For All

On Saturday, September 27th, for the 1 year anniversary of Helene, Ashley and I will be offering Free Kiddie Scoops AKA Community Scoops all day at all locations of The Hop Ice Cream. We can't really think of any other way to mark the occasion.

I think it's fair to say that this is going to be an emotion period of time for everyone so hopefully a little free ice cream will help.

Community Scoops began as a pay-it-forward initiative - a way for people from all over the world to support both The Hop and the Asheville community in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Through this initiative, supporters can purchase scoops of ice cream online and in our shops, which will be gifted to community members who could use a little extra sweetness in their lives.

This day wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of so many individuals who have purchased Community Scoops since Helene. Many thanks to all of you for your acts of kindness < 3
