Meet at the Asheville Botanical Garden Visitor's Center (indoor and outdoor class)

Come meet some of our fabulous fungi of the Mountain Region. We will discuss: Identification, Common Fungi and Mushroom Groups, Safety, Edible and Medicinal Uses, Marvelous Mushroom Facts and more! We will start in the classroom for some specimen study and then walk around the gardens. Attendees are welcome to bring in mushrooms for identification and discussion.

Instructor: Luke Cannon's fascination with our living forests is truly contagious. His gift for helping people connect to the natural world with deeper understanding, reverence, wonder and fun have folks flocking back for more classes.
