The principles of the rule of law, including independent courts, judicial authority, due process, and equal protection, are foundational to our system of justice. As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, the Buncombe County Bar is proud to sponsor Law Day on May 1, 2026. Please join us at noon on Pack Square’s main stage for a nonpartisan, apolitical event celebrating the rule of law, including speakers and a voluntary retaking of our oath to uphold the Constitution.
