Breathing Space: An Introduction to Prāṇāyāma

We can live weeks without food, days without water but only minutes without breath. Yet many of us go through life with little or no awareness of this very essential function.
Breathing Space is designed to build awareness around and explore the dynamics of our own breathing. In this workshop we will learn specific prāṇāyāma techniques that will help us increase awareness and work with the power of breath.
Benefits of prāṇāyāma can include: Increased energy and sense of well-being, improved circulation, increased lung capacity and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, stimulating the relaxation response.
Come experience the healing, rejuvenating and calming effects of a prāṇāyāma practice. Dress comfortably and be prepared to move a little, meditate and breathe! All are welcome -- no prāṇāyāma experience required!
