Beyond the Estate - The History of Biltmore Village and Forest Tour (Duplicated)

Have you ever wanted to learn more about the Vanderbilt's life outside of the famous Biltmore Estate? Join us for a private tour of Biltmore Village and the town of Biltmore Forest in a private van. The tour will begin with a short walk through Biltmore Village to visit the outside of George Vanderbilt's church, All Souls Episcopal Church. We will then walk to the former Biltmore Hospitals - one designed by architect Richard Sharp Smith (known as the Clarence Barker Memorial Hospital) and the Douglas Ellington designed Biltmore Hospital.

After this short walk through the village, we will see Biltmore High School and make our way into Biltmore Forest to learn more about this incredible town designed by Edith Vanderbilt in 1923. Homes owned by celebrities and famous Ashevillians will be highlighted in the town of Biltmore, as well as a general history. The tour is limited to 5 people.
