Beginning Encaustic art class

This is a beginner class for those interested in finding out what encaustic is and how to create an original art piece using hot wax. 

We will learn tools and techniques as well as how to apply wax and incorporate other materials like paper, fabric and plant material in the work.

Whether your interest is in abstract, landscape, or still life, you can find a way to create a piece using encaustic.

Please bring an old shirt or apron (or wear old clothes).

All encaustic supplies will be provided.
