AVL Sounds Fest

AVL Sounds Fest, the refreshed evolution of the beloved AVLfest, is a citywide, venue-based showcase festival featuring 17 stages into one genre-blending weekend of live music. 

Headliners like Dr. Dog, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Big Freedia, and Karl Denson's Tiny Universe join Asheville favorite River Whyless and over 200 regional, local, and international acts, pairing marquee names with rising and homegrown talent. A portion of proceeds supports Hurricane Helene recovery through the WNC Long Haul Fund.

Presented by Wicked Weed Brewing and Worthwhile Sounds, the citywide festival celebrates Asheville's renowned music scene while supporting Hurricane Helene recovery through the WNC Long Haul Fund.
