Art Responding to Art

Conspire Studio is hosting a Rosh Hashanah Artist Residency from September 10th-17th with 5 guest artists--Sonia Marcus, Kat Macias, alinahh ever, Tikva Kingrea, and Elliot Elm Moonstone. These artists will spend the week exploring inquiries around home, dispossession, and belonging in individual and collective ways.

What does it mean to return home to ourselves, and what helps us be able to do so? What about our collective homes? What might teachings about the mishkan have to illuminate for us about our relationship to ourselves and our homes?

On September 17th, we invite you to explore and play with these questions too! We'll have a chance to respond to the work made by our artists-in-residence through discussion and a guided artmaking process, share food, and enjoy screen free social time.

The ticketed part of this event is from 5:30-7pm with food from Gypsy Queen and all supplies provided.

Artmaking will be facilitated by Dani Austin & Kat Macias

The ticketed event will be immediately followed by a free, open-to-the-public celebration from 7-8pm, drinks provided.
