The 25th Asheville Orchid Festival 'Orchid Kingdom'

The Western North Carolina Orchid Society (WNCOS) and The North Carolina Arboretum will once again host one of Western North Carolina’s greatest annual plant shows: the 25th Asheville Orchid Festival “Orchid Kingdom." This will be an American Orchid Society-sanctioned judging event.

World-class orchid growers and breeders, along with regional orchid societies, will exhibit at the annual festival, with hundreds of orchids presented in carefully crafted displays.

Admission to the Asheville Orchid Festival is $5.00 for all over the age of 12 years old. All exhibits, all sales areas, programs and demonstrations included. Admission is free for all members of the Western North Carolina Orchid Society. To become a member, click here A regular parking fee for The North Carolina Arboretum applies for all attendees with the exception of Arboretum Members.

Friday, March 27

• 4-7:30pm - Sneak Preview Night (open to the public)

Saturday, March 28

• 10 a.m. - A Walk through the World of Orchids by Marc Burchette with the Biltmore Conservatory. A guided tour through the fabulous orchid exhibits!
• 1 p.m. - Jim France with Oakwood Orchids
• 2:15 pm - Orchid Re-potting Clinic by Graham Ramsey, President of the WNC Orchid Society. 

Suday, March 29

• 10 a.m. - A Walk through the World of Orchids by Marc Burchette with the Biltmore Conservatory. A guided tour through the fabulous orchid exhibits!
• 11:30 am - TBA ... stay tuned!
