2-Day Rapid Fire: Lost Wax Casting (December2026)

Crash course in Lost Wax Casting

Learn about transforming wax into metal using this ancient technique! This rapid fire class is 10 hours, you’ll work hands-on with wax to create a piece of jewelry or small object.
This is a condensed version of our full Lost Wax Casting course, with one less casting day, but still packed full of info.

Day 1: you carve the piece of jewelry or item using hand carving tools
Your piece is then placed in a steel cup and filled with a plaster like material called investment. Overnight your wax piece is burned away (hence the term Lost Wax).

Day 2: we will melt the metal (bronze or silver*) and pour it into the negative space where your wax was.
Let it cool, clean it up, and Ta Da! You have a metal piece of jewelry/small item!

All skill levels welcome. For ages 16+
Tools and equipment provided.
