Located in the heart of downtown Asheville, North Carolina, The Flat Iron Hotel is a historic, adaptive reuse boutique hotel from the award-winning team at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG). Originally constructed in 1925, The Flat Iron Building was one of the first skyscrapers in Asheville and became a pillar during the explosive growth of the city; today, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A nod to the city’s Gilded Age, the hotel’s design is inspired by Art Deco and reinterpreted with a modern touch, seamlessly blending the mountain town’s past with its present.
Offering 71 guest rooms and six suites, The Flat Iron Hotel is ideal for the adventurous traveler looking for a city escape with close proximity to nature. An extensive culinary and beverage program, helmed by Executive Chef Graham House, Chef de Cuisine Sean McMullen, and F&B Director Joe Albright, rounds out the guest experience with several unique concepts on property: Luminosa, an upscale eatery with a menu driven by Italian classics, hyperlocal ingredients, and dishes crafted in a wood-burning oven, and a rooftop bar atop the hotel with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Other on-site amenities and programming include a co-working space for guests and locals, meeting and event space, live music with local bands, rotating custom local brews on tap, and a hidden speakeasy cocktail bar.
