Art MuseumSunday, March 22nd | 6:30-8:30

Craft and creativity will take the spotlight at the 365 Conference Opening Reception hosted by Explore Asheville and set in the Asheville Art Museum's new state-of-the-art building which reopened in November 2019 after a $24 million renovation and expansion. Come celebrate the art of makers with heavy hor d'ourves, wine provided by Biltmore and beer provided by Asheville's first craft brewery, Highland Brewing Company. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the museum's collection in the expanded gallery space with guided docent tours, and don't forget to check out the rooftop sculpture terrace with views of downtown architecture and the surrounding mountains. Transportation from The Omni Grove Park Inn will be provided by Young Transportation & Tours. Downton Abbey: The Exhibition at Biltmore in Asheville, NCAn immersive exhibition featuring set recreations, costumes and exclusive multimedia from Downton Abbey is on display at Biltmore through April 7, 2020. Included in the exhibition are never-before-seen multimedia elements along with the series' most recognizable sets and artifacts. Among the show's costumes on display will be those worn by favorite characters including Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and Dame Maggie Smith. The exhibition will be showcased in two areas at Biltmore (Amherst and Legacy), transporting you on an incredible journey through the grand home of Downton Abbey
