Carolina Bed & Breakfast

Carolina Bed & Breakfast celebrates the 110th anniversary of the W. Vance Brown House designed in 1900 by Richard Sharp Smith, the architect who supervised the construction of the Biltmore House. With its pebbledash finish, unique rooflines and abundant porches, this Smith creation blends art and nature in the true Arts and Crafts tradition. Our home is situated on a gently rolling lot in the Montford Historic District within a half mile walking distance of downtown Asheville and three miles to Biltmore. The Montford community is endowed with numerous restored homes from the turn of the century. Walking through our acre of property, you will enjoy the gardens and water features we have created. Our well appointed guest rooms feature queen size beds, private whirlpool baths with fluffy towels and special soaps, cable TV, fine linens and quilts, and working fireplaces.
