- Did you say you want music? You want Dancing? You want feats of strength? Here are just a few of the fun-filled festivals scheduled for different dates spanning the summer season: Bluff Mountain Festival, the July Powwow, Goombay! Festival, and Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
- And, finally, what would summer in Asheville be without Bele Chere? It’s the largest street festival in the Southeast and, as of the end of April, had 27 bands booked – including headliners Gin Blossoms, Lovin’ Spoonful and Marty Stuart. ‘Nuf said.
