Directions:Located near downtown. From I-40 East, take I-240 West, exit 4C Montford Avenue. Turn right at top of ramp. Visitor Center on the left. From I-40 West, take I-240 East, exit 4C Montford Avenue. Turn right at top of ramp. At next light turn right onto Montford Avenue, cross bridge. Visitor Center on left. The Asheville Shop: A retail shop that sells the latest photos and prints and crafts by local artists, children's items, the requisite Asheville hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts and much, much more! Times/Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Visitor Center is open seven days a week.
