Countdown on for New Biltmore Hotel

Biltmore Breaks Ground on New Hotel

Village Hotel to Open in December

The latest lodging offering on the grounds of Biltmore is accepting reservations for stays beginning Dec. 1, 2015.

The Village Hotel, centrally located in Antler Hill Village, is the second accommodations option to be built on the estate of America’s largest home and will provide “casual and inviting” surroundings.

Architecturally influenced by the quaint cottages and farm homes common on the property during the time of the Vanderbilts, the new hotel will have a lively atmosphere near the various shopping, dining and outdoor activities of Antler Hill Village, including the Winery.

With 209 guest rooms and suites, a fitness center, outdoor pool and free shuttle service around the estate, the Village Hotel will also feature two dining options. The Kitchen will be a quick stop for breakfast and on-the-go lunches and picnics, while The Village Social will be its casual restaurant and bar emphasizing a small-plate tasting menu featuring seafood and Biltmore wines. The rooms and suites each include a window seat, 400-thread count linens, a 42-inch LCD-screen TV, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and walk-in shower.

The hotel's predecessor, the four-star Inn on Biltmore, with 201 rooms and nine suites, will remain the go-to choice for those overnight guests looking for a more luxurious and private setting.
