National Tourism Week is traditionally a time to celebrate the strength and vibrancy of our industry, an industry that creates 18,000 jobs and nearly a billion dollars of economic impact in Buncombe County annually.
On Wednesday, May 14th, we will celebrate tourism's significant impact on our community. This year’s celebration will include speaker John Imes, a dynamic leader in Wisconsin's efforts to define and pursue truly sustainable tourism practices.
