The Second Annual Friends and Fiberworks Summer Retreat will be held this year from July 13 - 15, 2012 at the Biltmore Square Mall in Asheville, NC. Sales and demonstrations of spinning, knitting, weaving, and felting are available throughout this 3-day weekend.

Registration for classes is now available on the Friends and Fiberworks website. In additional to welcoming back nationally known nuno felter Suzanne Morgan, Carla Filippelli will be teaching her three day class Exploring Appalachian Ribbed Baskets. Affordable workshops and classes range in length from 2 hours to 3 days offering advanced students a chance to improve skills, and beginning spinners can try a wheel without the expense of purchasing new equipment.
