Embark on a moden day treasure hunt with one of these exciting geocaching adventures. Geocaching is a hi-tech form of orienteering that will take you to places around the Asheville area that you may not normally get to see. It's perfect for all ages.
You'll need a full tank of gas, comfortable shoes and your sense of adventure. One cache should take about two to three hours to find.
At the end of your adventure, you'll find a cache holding tickets or other goodies from an Asheville area business. But, you must be the first to find the cache to get the prize.
To get started, you'll need to print out one or maybe all of the cache clues below and a basic road map* of the Asheville area. Most importantly, you'll need a hand-held GPS unit. If you don't have one, you can buy one at any electronic store, outdoor retailer or most major superstores.
