The food bloggers familiarization trip program brings culinary bloggers to Asheville to experience the city’s thriving food scene.
How to participate in the Food Bloggers in Asheville FAM
Send an email request to participate in the food bloggers' FAM. Travel is during the months of May and June. Participation is limited.*

Trip Details for Food Bloggers
- Travel dates must be between April 30 to June 30, 2009.
- Space is limited and requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Bloggers will receive one complimentary roundtrip airfare from the airport of their choice as well as lodging for up to three nights.
- We will provide assistance to bloggers in meeting any needs necessary to gain an accurate view of the local culinary scene.
- Assistance will be given to accommodate blogger’s requests to visit attractions, museums, galleries and recreation facilities.
- No blogging about the trip is required. Each blogger will be interviewed about their Asheville experience and the Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau may use blogger comments for online/offline promotions.
