"Free lace" is wearable art made with fibers such as ribbon, thread, suching, yarn, and more. The materials are applied and stitched to a water-soluble stabilizer. Once the piece is placed in water, the stabilizer disappears and a wonderful piece of lace appears. A portable sewing machine is required. Cost of the class includes project instructions, and 2 fiber packets (3 yards/packet) of student’s choice; a supply list will be provided to registrants.
