Discussion Bound: Bluebeard: A Novel
Bluebeard: A Novel by Kurt Vonnegut is November's book in our Monthly Book Discussion group. The "autobiography" of minor Abstract Expressionist painter Rabo Karabekian (an inconsequential player in Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions) is interspersed with Karabekian's present-day doings in his posh, art-treasure-filled manse in East Hampton, Long Island. Satirical and humorous. Pop into our monthly book discussion as we read and discuss books that relate to artwork in our galleries. Bring your copy of the book; each book will be available for purchase through the Museum Shop as well as area bookstores. Suggestions for future books are most welcome!
