The Asheville International Children's Film Festival will premiere on November 2-8, 2009. The festival features a treasure trove of 70 films from 25 countries, full of adventure, surprises, belly laughs and stories that are sure to make kids think and see the world in a brand new way. The weeklong festival will accommodate school groups during the week at Cinebarre theaters and the general public at Asheville Pizza & Brewing on the weekend. In addition to screenings, there will be informative discussions with film industry professions. Hands on Movie Magic workshops will be available on the weekend to delve deeper into the collaborative art of film-making.
