Asheville Yoga and Music Fest, July 17-19 Come and experience an entire weekend of yoga and sacred music in the peace and beauty of the Appalachian Mountains! The festival will feature Asheville's favorite yoga teachers including Stephanie Keach (Asheville Yoga Center), Lillah Schwartz (Lighten Up), Derek Rinaldo (Namaste Yoga Sanctuary) Kaoverii Weber (Subtle Yoga), Sierra Holister (Kundalini), Jeri Senor (South Asheville Yoga), and many more. You will also experience world class sacred music, including internationally acclaimed chant master David Newman (Durga Das), world musician Akira Satake, winner of the German Music Critic’s Award, popular local kirtan bands Chaetanya and Sangita Devi and many others. Relaxing and empowering yoga workshops and classes will be offered all weekend long. In addition, there will be a workshop in The Sacred Instruments of Tibet by world-renowned teacher Mitch Nur, lively Bhangra Dance with Lisa Zahiya, sacred Tara dance with Makare and many other informative and uplifting workshops.
