Ring in 2009 at Asheville’s luxurious New Year’s Eve event: The Champagne Ball. All proceeds from the night’s event will benefit Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance. The public is invited to attend this event, held December 31 from 8pm – 1am and hosted by Shay Brown Events: 21 Wall Street in downtown Asheville. The Champagne Ball is designed to be an elegant, organic event, accented with decadent floral and candlelight. Party goers are encouraged to wear black or white tie; or creative themed attire. The evening will include a champagne bar, themed cocktail, beer and wine along with heavy hors d’ oeuvres from local restaurants. Looking to be entertained? The Champagne Ball promises a musically and visually stimulating evening that will include great music, a pas de deux by Terpsicorps and cirque style performances by Asheville Aerial Arts. The centerpiece of the evening will be a memento from the Roberto Coin's "Champagne" jewelry collection. The Champagne Cork Pendant is featured in 18k of yellow & white gold and pave, set with round brilliant diamonds. This pendant has a suggested retail value of $2,900, and will be raffled off to the Champagne Ball attendants.
